Dr Yuting Qin

Yuting Qin, PhD

Research Associate

Dr. Yuting Qin graduated from the Institute of Health Sciences, Shanghai Institutes for Biological Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences. She is interested in epigenetic regulation in autoimmune diseases and oversees platforms of ChIP-seq, ATAC-seq and related techniques in CACPI. She is currently managing several projects related to the role of epigenetic gene variants in the pathogenesis of SLE.

 


Dr Yuke He

Yuke He, PhD

Associate Researcher

Dr Yuke He is an Associate Researcher with a PhD degree in immunology and cell biology from University of Science and Technology of China. She has 10+ years of hands-on lab experience in in vitro and in vivo immunology and is responsible for managing the molecular cloning core in the CACPI laboratory. She is currently involved in downstream analysis of WES data as well as managing several projects towards connecting genetic variation in humans to autoimmune disease.

 


Janet Wu

Xiaoqian (Janet) Wu, BSN, MNP

Clinical Liaison Officer

Xiaoqian (Janet) Wu works as the clinical liaison officer at CACPI. She has a Bachelor’s degree of Nursing from Shanghai Jiaotong University and a Master’s of Nursing Practice from Monash University, Australia.

She gained project experience in the rheumatology department at Renji Hospital, and completed a thesis on the subject of life quality of SLE patients and have had an article published in a core Chinese journal.

Janet’s role is to collate the patient clinical information and provide support for grants, contracts, purchasing, translation and other administration work.

Pingjing Zhang

Pingjing Zhang

Technician

Pingjing Zhang graduated from Shanghai Jiankang University of medicine and majored in medical laboratory technology. She works as a technician at CACPI. She is mainly responsible for breeding CRSPR mice and maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of animal data, assisting in ordering laboratory stocks and providing support in a range of molecular biology techniques.

 


Chengmei Xie

Chengmei Xie

Student

Chengmei Xie is a PhD student at CACPI. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Bioscience/Biotechnology from the China Medical University, and a Master’s in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the Beijing Institute of Genomics (BIG), University of Chinese Academy of Sciences.

She has a wealth of knowledge in molecular, cell and mouse experiments. Chengmei is currently involved in several projects to discover the causal genetic variations and the pathway in autoimmune diseases.

 

Jianyang Ma

Jianyang Ma

Student

Jianyang Ma is a PhD student at CACPI. He has 5 years working experience as a research assistant in Joint Molecular Rheumatology Laboratory of Institute of Health Sciences and Shanghai Renji Hospital. He is currently involved in several projects to discover the causal genetic variations and pathways in Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE).
